Pool Vacuum Vac Lock Safety Wall Fitting Replacement for Suction Pool Cleaners

The safety mechanism known as the Vacuum/Vac Lock has a spring action cover that secures the pool cleaner hose in place and automatically closes the suction fitting when not in use. It is compatible with various suction pool cleaners including the Hayward Pool Vac, Navigator, Baracuda, Kreepy Krauly, and many others.

Installation instructions: 1. Apply silicone sealant to the 1 1/2" male threads and hand turn it into the 1 1/2" female thread wall fitting already in place in the pool. This fitting will be connected to the suction side of the plumbing system with a 3-way or ball valve at the equipment to adjust the flow rate. 2. Thread the wall fitting as far as possible, ensuring that the "arrow marking" is pointing upwards with the spring on top. 3. Secure the set screw. 4. Use a screwdriver to open the flap and insert the vacuum/pool cleaner hose. The "clip" inside the flap will help secure the hose to the wall fitting when the pump is turned off. 5. When not in use, ensure that the cover flap is firmly snapped into place. 6. NEVER operate a pool/spa with an uncovered suction outlet or vacuum port.

This free rotation vacuum lock safety wall fitting can be used as a replacement for Hayward W400BWHP, W400BBKP, W400BLGP and also fits the Pentair Safety snap-lock wall fitting GW9530 and K12500. It is white in color.
